Recently I have had problems twice with bird nesting In the bobbin area and on the bottom of the stitching. Rethreading the top thread will usually solve this problem unless there is a more severe problem if that does not work for you then you may need to have your machine inspected by a Pfaff service engineer. Clean any lint from in and around bobbin area also if your machine has this function, make sure automatic thread cutter is enabled in settings menu see manual if you are unsure. On the stitch that's too tight, it is again forming a small hump and the actual zigzag is narrower than the ideal stitch, as it's pulling too tightly from point to point. Also note how long it takes for this breakage to occur, since it happen pretty quickly if one thread has an extreme tension problem. Using the screwdriver in your machine tool kit, turn the screw a quarter-turn right to tighten, left to loosen. If you have a front-loading bobbin, remove the bobbin and its bobbin case from the machine.
